• Walk-ins Welcome: No appointment is necessary. Fingerprinting is conducted on a walk-in basis during our regular business hours. Those hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (excluding county holidays).
• Ink Only: We provide traditional rolled ink fingerprints only. We do not offer LiveScan or digital fingerprinting services. If your employer or licensing agency explicitly requires digital prints, you will need to locate an alternative provider.

To ensure a quick and smooth process, please bring the following with you to the Sheriff's Office:

• Valid Photo ID: A current, government-issued photo ID (such as a driver's license, state ID, or passport).
• Fingerprint Cards: If your employer or agency provided specific fingerprint cards (such as the standard FBI FD-258 card), please bring them with you. Please do not sign the cards before arriving. If you do not have your own cards, our office can provide standard blank ones.
• Fingerprints are provided free of charge.

Fingerprinting is conducted at the Sheriff's Office, located inside the Dickinson County Courthouse. Please check in at the main administrative window upon arrival, and a staff member will assist you as soon as possible.
