Heebner arrested

On Feb 4 2012 at 8:20PM, DCSO received a 911 call of a domestic assault that occurred in the 1200 block of 330 Ave north of Superior Iowa. The 911 call stated that there was a firearm displayed and fired during the assault. A female escaped the residence and fled on foot. Deputies found and removed the female to safety. DCSO closed off the area and the H.E.A.T team was activated. A male, Bryan Heebner (48) of Superior IA, was taken into custody approximately 3/4 miles west of the incident at 9:40PM. No one was injured in this incident.

Heebner was booked into the Dickinson County Jail on the following charges:

• Intimidation With a Dangerous Weapon - Class C Felony
• Domestic Abuse Assault - Aggravated Misdemeanor
• Reckless Use of a Firearm - Aggravated Misdemeanor
• False Imprisonment - Serious Misdemeanor
• Operating While Intoxicated, 1st offense- Serious Misdemeanor
• Failure to Use Headlamps when required - Simple Misdemeanor
• Open Container - Simple Misdemeanor
