DCSO arrested two people on February 11, 2014. A Deputy responded to a disabled vehicle call in the 2500 block of 260th Street at around 10:21pm. When the Deputy arrived on scene, the disabled vehicle was being filled up with gas. The vehicle was a black Pontiac Grand Prix registered to Heather Quail (20) of Terril. When the Deputy approached the vehicle, he could smell a strong odor of marijuana. The DCSO K9 unit was then asked to assist. Marijuana and drug paraphernalia was located in the vehicle. Quail and her passenger, Wesley Daniel (18) of Spencer, were both arrested.
Quail was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Daniel was charged with possessions of a controlled substance.
All persons are innocent until proven guilty.
