Deputy Ed Lock joined the Sheriff's Office in December, 2005. Deputy Lock became a certified police officer in 1992 while working for the Lake Park Police Department. In 1993, Deputy Lock was hired by the Emmetsburg Police Department and then hired by the Okoboji Police Department in 2001. Deputy Lock is married and has three daughters and enjoys many outside activities including coaching his daughter's softball team.
