Deputy Josh Roberts joined the Sheriff's Office in December of 2006. Deputy Roberts graduated from the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy in 2003 while working for the Spirit Lake Police Department. Prior to his law enforcement career Deputy Roberts spent ten years in the Military. Deputy Roberts has served two tours in Iraq, Operation Desert Shield with the U.S. Navy and Operation Iraqi Freedom with the U.S. Army. During his off duty hours Deputy Roberts enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters.
