Help Wanted: 911 Dispatcher
The Dickinson County Sheriff's Office is looking to hire a full time 911 Communications Dispatcher. This is a night position and must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Applicants must have above average communications skills and have the ability to multi-task and all applicants are subject to a background investigation. The Dickinson County Sheriff's Office offers excellent pay and benefits.

DCSO investigated a single vehicle crash that happened on 3-20-2013 at approximately 11:48AM. Josie Krivolavy (33) of Arnolds Park was driving a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee southbound on Hwy 71 in the 2400 block. The Jeep had a tire blowout. Krivolavy lost control of the Jeep and left the roadway, hitting the outer slope of the road ditch and a fence, coming to rest in a picked cornfield. Krivolavy was transported by private vehicle to Lakes Regional Healthcare with non-incapacitating injuries. The damage to the Jeep was estimated at $2500 and damage to the fence, owned by Jack Johnson of Milford, was estimated at $100.
